Five posts – 37.5 hours per week

Following reconfiguration and movement within the existing team an exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Corporate Nursing Education and Practice Development Team.

This new role involves working with key members of the Education and Practice Learning Team to support education, training and development initiatives across the Trust including HCA induction, OSCE Training, RN Induction and Preceptorship as well as forging links with specific CMG’s for specialist training. Using your clinical experience you will support a range of staff both working alongside them within their clinical areas, supporting and developing in practice and through formal classroom education and training.

You will support the wider team in preparing for and facilitating study days and programmes appropriate to your knowledge and experience, mainly held in our dedicated education space at the Centre for Clinical Practice, Glenfield. You will take responsibility for specific staff development projects to support the Trust wide Education and Practice Learning agenda.

You will be an experienced and clinically competent Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ post registration experience, possess a first Level Degree or have equivalent experience and evidence of professional development within your current specialty

You will hold a previously recognised NMC Teaching and Assessing Programme or equivalent or have experience supporting and assessing learners in practice. The role is predominately Monday – Friday daytime hours however to meet service need there may be occasional evening and weekend working required.
