The Informatics Department is a corporate support service within Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, encompassing Information, IT and Information Governance services. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the IT Division, last Autumn we deployed Windows 10 to our entire estate and this year we will focus on rolling out the Microsoft 365 suite.

We are looking for an innovative and motivated self-starter who will work closely with the rest of the IT Team and Informatics Teams to provide advice and support as part of the IT Service Desk function. 

In order to support our requirements, applicants will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of systems and tools to be able to successfully maintain and develop a corporate IM&T environment, with particular expertise in some or all of the following; networking, cyber-security, ITIL processes, fault-finding and diagnosis of complex IT hardware and software issues. 

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and be able to relay complex technical information effectively across different levels of our Trust and its partners.

  • Non-clinical Bank WorkersA minimum of 1 assignment must be undertaken in a 6 month period and you must attend any training you are notified of.
