We are seeking enthusiastic specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologists who have experience of working in a community mental health team. The posts will involve working across Community Mental Health Recovery Services (CMHRSs).

The CMHRSs see adults aged 18 years plus with complex, severe and enduring mental health problems. The principles and philosophy of care are based on the recovery model. You will be responsible for the provision of specialist psychology services for this client group. You will also be supervising assistant psychologists and trainees in the team. The psychologists in the team work closely with other multidisciplinary team members and other teams, such as the Home Treatment Teams and Inpatient services. You will be involved in assessment and assigning of clients to specific care clusters and offering evidence-based psychological interventions within each care cluster.

In addition, you will be given the opportunity to develop special interests and expertise in evidence-based interventions in line with service objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally within a committed and supportive adult mental health setting as well as play an important role in helping to shape the service. Newly qualified psychologists are welcome to apply.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
