The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is in the process of strengthening its IT department with additional Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop its Desktop Support Function area. This is a newly created role to provide strategic management and leadership of a critical function at a time of growth and change across the ROH IT Department.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Desktop Manager to join our Team.to manage Desktop Support Function area and ensure it is operating effectively managed on a day to bay basis, ensuring all BAU work is dealt with in a timely manner?

As the Desktop Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and mentoring a team of IT Engineers to deliver a great IT experience to our customers.

You will be responsible for understanding the changing needs of our user base and to align the needs with investments in IT services. Collaborating with Projects and Infrastructure teams, building relationships within IT and the business in order to provide continuous process improvements will be important.
