Southern Health is one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK, specialising in mental health, adult and child community health and learning disabilities.


Southampton division is looking to recruit to an exciting new role of Patient Safety Practitioner. We are looking for an inspirational clinical leader to support the divisional quality governance and safety agenda through a leading by example approach.

 

You will be joining us at a time of great change and opportunity both internally and externally with our local stakeholders and we require someone who is innovative, and able to work creatively as part of a dynamic clinical leadership team.

 

The successful candidate would have an eye for detail and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast pace environment, who has the skills and temperament to work in a collaborative manner across all divisional services and link with the central governance team.

 

The patient safety practitioner will work to the Divisional Director of Nursing & AHPs and provide support in leading the strategic direction of the divisional safety and quality agenda, providing support and guidance to the clinical teams, leading on a range of quality and safety initiatives.

 

In return we will support you with this challenging and exciting role through opportunities for coaching, further training specific to the post and regular supervision support and development.
