University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking an experienced ICT Technical Service Team Lead to join an existing innovative and dynamic Technical Services team. The role will support the ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager in the delivery of a robust yet rapidly evolving ICT infrastructure to the Trust.

This role will require an enthusiastic and motivated individual to manage a team of third-line support analysts by taking the lead with first class technical knowledge and experience. The post holder is expected to evaluate requests, incidents and risks, to effectivity delegate responsibilities and to drive team productivity.

You will also possess the ability to analyse a range of complex technical issues and propose interim / permanent resolutions. You will undertake research into new technology and influence its delivery into the organisation. It is essential that you are able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and are able to articulate complex technical issues in a way that is understood by non-technical staff.

You will be required to participate in an out-of-hours support rota which provides support cover for critical systems out of hours. Applications are invited from professional and enthusiastic individuals who would welcome the challenge of working within a busy ICT Technology Department.
