The Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) CCG have a membership of 80 GP practices, which serve a population of a million people. The Business Intelligence function is responsible for providing business intelligence relating to the whole business, in the context of activity, cost, quality and performance data. It will store and present information in a consistent, unified way to ensure the organisation is working from one version of truth. This role will provide expert high quality business intelligence service to the Transformation, Medicines Optimisation and Localities Directorates. It will work in a matrix style working across the Business Intelligence Team to support programmes of work that run across all areas, for example to ensure savings plans are reflected in contract and operational activity plans and to provide insight that adds value to monitoring reporting.


The post-holder will produce analysis and reports that demonstrate clearly and concisely the answers, findings and position of the organisation using appropriate and effective data visualisation; complemented with insightful commentary, which is then useful and progressive for the organisations business. This will require attention to detail, strong relationships with colleagues and curiosity to understand the problem, with a developing knowledge of the subject to respond in context and fulfil the information need.
