The Leeds Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides a clinical assessment and intervention service for children and young people with severe emotional and mental health needs. CAMHS delivers mental health training and education to partner agencies as well as working collaboratively with staff within other agencies to meet the complex mental health needs of children and young people. Specialist community CAMHS includes multidisciplinary teams working within several pathways including eating disorders, urgent and self-harm, severe emotional and behavioural difficulties, psychosis, neurodevelopmental, outreach service, transitions, CAMHS In School and Leeds MindMate SPA (single point of access).

About you

Good secretarial skills with good keyboard skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.

Must be able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines within the admin and clinical team.

Must be a good communicator and be able to show empathy when dealing with difficult and distressing phone calls.

A good team player, you will be pro-active in keeping administration processes up to date and be involved with improving quality of Service.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
