An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist to join the well-established Community Respiratory Service (CRS) covering seven days a week in Brighton and Hove. The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with people in the community with a chronic lung condition. The CRS is multi-faceted and aims to improve the self management of people with chronic lung conditions through education, support and close liaison with the wider health and social care community. The CRS provide a variety of innovative components including a pulmonary rehabilitation programme, supplementary oxygen assessment and rapid response for those in an exacerbation. The CRS also aim to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions where possible.

Band 5 Physiotherapist applicants with a specialist interest in respiratory conditions will be considered to enable them to develop to a Band 6 once training and competencies are completed.

Consideration will also be given to candidates wanting to work 0.7 WTE.

The successful candidate will work well within a team, and demonstrate excellent skills of communication and prioritisation. Car driver with car available for work are essential.
