Exciting opportunities have arisen for whole time Band nurses to join the existing team of dynamic and cohesive team of Nurses providing cardiac care to the population of Northamptonshire and surrounding regions.

The Kettering General Hospital Department of Cardiology provides comprehensive cardiac services including acute and elective coronary intervention, (PCI and PPCI), basic and complex device therapy (PPM, ICD, CRT-P, CRT-D) and Heart Failure. Our Cathlab provides 24/7 emergency PPCI 365 days per year.

Cardiology Specialty at Kettering is a rapidly expanding service offering direct access to chest pain unit with a 24/7 Cardiac Outreach service and a Cardiac Rehabilitation Service with excellent patient experience.

We have a modern purpose built 12 bedded CCU and 16 bedded ward environment with daily support from Heart Failure Nurses.

If you are an experienced nurse or paramedic wishing to gain experience in cardiology services, either in Coronary care Unit or cardiology/ heart Failure wards, this will be the ideal opportunity for you.

We welcome newly qualified nurses or if you are about to complete your nurse training. Our team will be prepared to support you with your preceptorship and development as a nurse within a very busy Cardiac Unit. We have Practice Development Matron linked to the specialty that will support you.
