Caburn Ward at Mill View Hospital is looking for a registered mental health nurses to join their team.

Within our hospital, we have 5 wards and a hospital place of safety.

Caburn ward is our female acute admissions ward. The ward is a busy and sometimes challenging environment to work in, so this post would really suit a nurse who is seeking a challenge and who has a passion and commitment to acute/inpatient nursing and for someone who has a genuine interest and care for women's mental health. Having said all this - the post is suitable for both newly qualified nurses and nurses further along in their careers - We pride ourselves on being a supportive team.

Our hospital vision statement and commitment "Is to listen and to look after each other whilst creating a safe space for everyone" Lets be brave, curious and creative together and be proud of what we can achieve.

We value the importance of supervision, team reflective practice and on-going training and development. If you are a newly qualified nurse, you would be supported to attend our Trust preceptorship academy. We also have a Band 6 development course. More local to Brighton and Hove, we have weekly bite sized training for nurses and each of our wards are committed to regular team away days. We hold daily hospital safety huddles and we are quite unique that we always have a senior nurse (B6 or B7 out of the numbers) on duty 24 hours a day to provide additional support and leadership to our nursing teams.
