Band 8a (0.8 wte, 30 hours) - Clinical Specialist Dietitian

We are excited to offer the opportunity to join us as Clinical Specialist Dietitian for Tier 4 Bariatric Surgery Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. The successful applicant will be the successor to Mary O'Kane FBDA.

It is essential that applicants have an understanding of obesity management and participated in Tier 4 obesity surgery services. The post holder will be integral to the Surgical Obesity MDT. More widely there is an expectation that there will be active participation and partnership working with specialist weight management services, Leeds Obesity Network, Local HEIs and beyond e.g. BOMSS. Applicants should have a proven active interest in research and audit currently and willingness to undertake future research e.g. leading/contributing to national research in collaboration with other clinical areas.
