We are seeking a dynamic can-do individuals to work with us in this challenging but exciting period of change for the Pharmacy Service in North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS FT, as our acute and community services work ever more closely. Our Business and Transformation Manager will be at the forefront of implementing new ways of delivering pharmacy services in the Social Care and Health sector across all services.

We are interested in persons keen to be at the forefront of change; working closely with colleagues in pharmacy and subject matter experts who can drive change and achieve project goals. It is essential that the individual can focus on project delivery within the operational environment.

The role requires the ability to influence, inform and work closely with senior pharmacy managers and operational staff, representing them and their views whilst at the same time representing the requirements and targets of the projects. The role will also ensure that project outcomes are workable in an operational environment and take staff with them, making and embedding real changes to culture and practice across significant staff groups.

We are looking for confident people who can work independently, but also as part of a team. You will need good IT and communication skills, diplomacy and a positive approach. An understanding of change/project methodology would be an advantage.

You will be expected to travel across Cumbria periodically to maintain strong links with operational teams and ensure that the transformation of services, systems and processes has a clear focus on operational needs.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Standard Check: £26 + Administration cost of £4.20 = deducted at £10.20 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 2 months.

Enhanced Check: £44 + administration cost of £4.20 = £15.20 deducted from 1st month salary and £11 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
