Band 7 Physio Team Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is able to demonstrate leadership skills, to join the Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (TIMS) as a Physiotherapy Team Lead in our Complex Musculoskeletal and Pain Pathway.

The successful applicant will take on a team lead role as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service for patients with musculoskeletal and persistent pain conditions in clinical settings across Gateshead and Newcastle. They will maintain a clinical caseload whilst providing day to day leadership for the team, acting as a source of expertise within the pathway and be expected to contribute to service evaluation and development.

You will be required to have a degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy, State registered with Health and Care Professions Council and hold or be willing to work towards Masters level qualification. You will have extensive post graduate experience in the area with experience leadership and of integrating evidence based guidelines into clinical practice. Also, evidence of ongoing accredited CPD in a specialist area including relevant post graduate courses.

If you have excellent communication skills, understand the importance of person-centered care and have a desire to develop your knowledge and skills in the musculoskeletal physiotherapy then this is an excellent opportunity for you.
