An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated workforce professional to join the team at North Bristol NHS Trust. Now is an exciting time to join us as this People Business Partner role will be a key member of the Core Clinical Services Divisional Leadership team, in line with the recent introduction of a Service Line Management structure.

The People Business Partner will be a key member of the senior management team in Core Clinical Services and will support the development and delivery of its transformation plan. Key duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Divisional Operations Director, Clinical Director, Head of Professions and Finance Business Partner to shape infrastructure with a focus on providing sustainability for the Division and Trust.
  • Leading on the successful delivery of the Core Clinical Services workforce agenda, providing high quality, strategic and operational Human Resources input and support to managers and staff, looking towards the continued improvement and development of the service.
  • Helping to build and sustain people management capacity through effective coaching of managers and developing / delivering initiatives to maximise workforce performance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Be CIPD qualified and a Chartered Member of the CIPD with evidence of continuing professional development as a HR Practitioner.
  • Have significant operational HR knowledge with experience of developing the workforce aspects of operational business plans.
  • Have experience in applying a business partner approach and working with managers to develop services.
  • Be able to apply HR expertise in order to provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Be resilient and adaptable, with experience of influencing and communicating with people of all levels.
