The three CCGs across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and West Berkshire(BOB) have developed an ambitious plan to improve the health and wellbeing of our 1.8 million local population across the three localities. With a combined budget of c.£2.5 billion and one of the fastest growing areas in the country, the coming year is proving to be an important transition year for the BOB STP as it develops and implements the roadmap to becoming an Integrated Care System by April 2020.

As we progress on this journey, the services that we are accountable for need to continue to adapt and transform and ensure that we, as a system, maintain a strong focus on the role of place and that our developments are driven locally. To help us achieve this, we seek a Chief Executive who can provide combined accountability for all strategic commissioning and leadership to our STP.

Our new Chief Executive will need to be a prominent system leader. S/he will lead across the health economy and will need to work in collaboration with our 175 member practices to provide a strong clinical commissioning voice to the local authorities and local health care providers. The Chief Executive will be required to develop and lead a single management team to work across the BOB CCGs and develop a single culture and a focus on place-based working whilst retaining three separate statutory organisations.

We are looking for an ambitious, driven and inspirational individual who is an experienced leader with an impeccable track record of driving and delivering significant change across large and complex organisations. The ideal individual will have a clear vision for strategic, outcomes-based commissioning and the gravitas and political astuteness needed to build highly effective partnerships with our key partners and, importantly, patients, residents and our staff.
