Fantastic opportunity to become a salaried GP or Partner at Bridgeway Practice.

We are a SystmOne practice located within walking distance to Nottingham City Centre and Nottingham train & tram station. We work from a newly modernised surgery located within a health centre setting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated GP to join our friendly team and to work between 6 - 8 sessions per week.

Our practice list is approximately 4500. We believe in forward thinking, whilst still keeping the needs of our patients at the heart of all our future planning. We are a fast growing team of 2 GP's, Practice Nurse and HCA and we regularly host medical and pharmacy students, and hopefully will be building on that by hosting F1 & F2 Doctors in our new larger practice. Our QOF achievement is always very high and we have a strong PPG group whom we meet with on a regular basis. We are rated good by CQC.

We offer 6 weeks annual leave together with 1 week study leave. We are offering a flexible and rewarding employment package for a GP, to suit their personal and career needs, This includes indemnity cover as well.

All applicants are welcome to contact the Practice Manager, Sara Atkinson, for an informal discussion or visit prior to the closing date.

Tel: 0115 9861128 or email saraatkinson@nhs.net

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require current Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the current Resident Labour Market Test which will be in place until the end of December 2020. UK Visas and Immigration requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) are also subject to this requirement.
