New additional posts have been funded for both full time and part time band 3 therapy assistants to become part of our experienced Multidisciplinary team on the rehabilitation wards at Lewes, Uckfield and Crowborough intermediate care units.

This role involves working closely with patients to assess and improve their skills in activities of daily living, mobility and self care. The post also includes administrative tasks and record keeping.

We are looking for individuals who are flexible and well organised and willing to work across site and at weekends. A willingness to learn and develop is essential along with good communication and interpersonal skills. Your work will be directed and supervised by qualified occupational therapists and physiotherapist and work closely with our nursing colleagues.

You should have relevant therapy experience and demonstrate a willingness to complete specific therapy competencies and further learning as required.
