Experienced Specialist Paramedic Urgent and Emergency Care (Experienced Paramedic Practitioner)

Location:Trust Wide (Kent, Surrey, Sussex)

Salary:Band 7 (Starting salary to be discussed at interview)

Experienced Paramedic Practitioners are invited to apply to Secamb as we continue to develop our services for our patients. The ongoing transformation process will see new ways of deploying and managing Paramedic Practitioners in order to better meet the needs of our community. This is an exciting time as we improve the utilisation of Paramedic Practitioners as senior clinicians.

On appointment, you will be working in a frontline Paramedic Practitioner post. Applicants will have excellent clinical leadership skills, which they will use to develop others and support new ways of working.

You will be required to demonstrate clinical competence, excellent communication skills, a forward thinking and positive approach and good team working.

In order to apply you must have successfully completed the Paramedic Practitioner education pathway, including the workplace based assessment (WPBA, also known as 8 week GP placement) and secamb Specialist Practice examination and osces/College of Paramedics Diploma Primary and Urgent Care. Applicants without all of these elements, who are not fully qualified Specialist Paramedics, will commence on a Band 6 pay scale.

The recruitment process will include the following elements:

Fitness Test
