We currently have vacancies for Registered Nurses within our Community Team and are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking individuals to fill these posts.

If you are a Registered Nurse who shares and believes in our values and wants to make a positive difference by working with an innovative and respected organisation which delivers highest quality support to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across Somerset?

St Margaret's Hospice has ambitious plans to reach more people who need our specialist care and these roles are key to our success. If you hold a RN1 qualification or equivalent, have excellent communication skills and are wanting to make a difference by providing outstanding palliative nursing care, we would love to hear from you.

You should have flexibility to work across a range of care settings and shifts, including evenings, weekends and ability to travel to different sites and communities within the county.

Working as part of a team which includes Community Clinical Nurse Specialists in Palliative Care, and Team Assistants the Registered Nurse - Advice Line and Community will be responsible for a number of elements which includes triaging, providing advice and responding to both patient, carer and other Health care professional calls to the advice line. Community elements will include visiting patients in their own homes (or outpatient environment) to continue the support and advice outlined by the Clinical Nurse Specialist. The service is offered 7 days a week.
