We are keen to appoint 3 enthusiastic and committed Paediatricians to join the team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. These posts would be ideal for candidates who would like to get post CCT experience in specialities like Gastroenterology, Allergy , Diabetes, Epilepsy and Oncology.

We provide a clinical service at both the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury and Maidstone Hospital, to a population of approximately 460,000 in West Kent and North East Sussex. The area has very good primary and Grammar schools and good transport links to London (which is reached in approximately 45 minutes by train).

The new Consultant will be able to work on resident on call rota with job plan to do Consultant led assessment unit and rapid access clinics and 2 PA’s for special interest training. We have a General Paediatric Consultant presence in the Hospital from 8.30am and to 10 pm 7 days a week according to the RCPCH recommendation. We have 2 middle grade doctors for night shifts.
