We're holding a Paediatric and Acute Nurse Recruitment Evening on Thursday 6th February 2020 at Leighton Hospital, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 4QJ.

If you're a qualified nurse looking for a change of career, or a student nurse looking for your first job, we'd love to meet you!

We're focusing on recruiting to the following areas:

  • Paediatric
  • Surgery & Cancer Division,
  • Medicine & Emergency Care Division, including rotational posts
  • Rehabilitation
  • Hospital Bank.

Our Trust is a friendly and caring place to work, with a real "family" feel.

Julie Tunney, our Director of Nursing, is committed to providing a supportive and safe environment for Nurses to work in, providing careers not just jobs.

In return we’re looking for caring, skilled professionals who are able to deliver the care our patients deserve.

We will be interviewing on the day. If you'd like a guaranteed interview, please submit your application here and we’ll offer you a slot once we’ve reviewed your application.

Or, alternatively, you can just "drop in" if you want to see what the Trust is like, or chat to one of our Ward Managers or Matrons, however, due to numbers, we may not be able to guarantee an interview on the day if you haven't applied beforehand.

One thing we can guarantee, is a warm welcome, so, if you've considered an acute nursing career at Mid Cheshire Hospitals, come along on Thursday 6th February, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, to the Boardroom, Trust HQ, Leighton Hospital, Crewe.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require current Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the current Resident Labour Market Test which will be in place until the end of December 2020. UK Visas and Immigration requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) are also subject to this requirement.
