An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Occupational Therapist, who has knowledge and experience of working with children who have a range of complex needs from pre-school to 16 years old, to work with the team on a fixed term temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

The post is a community role primarily based within the South locality (Crewe/Nantwich), therefore a car driver is essential. The post holder will work within a variety of community settings, including clinics, schools and homes, dependent on the needs of the child/young person.

Applicants will preferably have experience of multi-disciplinary working; the post holder will work within an integrated team alongside Paediatric Physiotherapists and generic Therapy Assistants who work closely with/provide support to both Services. Applicants should be able to prioritise their workload and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, with the ability to work under pressure.

The post holder will be an integral part of a small supportive team with support from experienced colleagues and the locality team managers available. Training and personal development is encouraged.
