Part Time Specialist in Special Care Dentistry – 8 Sessions per week (30 hours)

Salary: Band C - £75,614 to £86,900 per annum (pro-rata for part-time staff)

Base: New Street Health and Wellbeing Centre, Barnsley

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic dentist to join our team in Barnsley to be part of the Specialist team in paediatric dentistry providing a specialist referral service for paediatric patients.

The post holder will work alongside other Specialists in Paediatric Dentistry based in Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham in developing the paediatric care provision within the whole service.

The post holder will be based in clinics in Barnsley providing high quality comprehensive dental care to identified paediatric priority groups, working within health centres and domiciliary settings. However, where the need arises the post holder will be expected to also work in clinics in Doncaster and Rotherham.

The applicant must be GDC registered and be eligible for a performer number. You should be on the GDC Specialist list in Paediatric Dentistry or eligible for CCST within 6 months of the date of the interview.

The post will require the relevant disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service and occupational health clearance.
