Advert for Band 6 Specialist Nurse Tissue Viability

18.75 hours a week 6 month secondment

An ideal opportunity to experience being a Tissue Viability Nurse

 

Due to development within the Team we have the opportunity for a part time Band 6 for 6 months.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the small but dynamic Tissue Viability Team at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Tissue Viability team is highly motivated and passionate about delivering high quality tissue viability support to all areas across the Trust.

 

We are looking for an exceptional registered nurse who is passionate about providing best care for patients with complex wound needs and proactive in eliminating pressure ulcers.

 

You will be a motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic, hardworking and organised registered nurse with a passion for tissue viability.

 

This role has a primary focus on pressure ulcer prevention and management by working closely with clinical teams providing education and support. It will also involve you working alongside the Senior Specialist Nurse to positively impact on the management of complex wounds across the Trust by supporting and educating patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
