An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced person to join our CAMH Service to assist in the delivery of a wide range of services to the children and young people of South Derbyshire. You will be based at Century House, 100 Nottingham Road, Long Eaton.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 to 5:00 pm

Thursday to cover late clinic 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm (during school holidays 9:00 to 5:00 may be requested)

We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, outgoing, reliable and flexible person to join our receptionist/admin support team. Applicants will need the confidence and experience to be able to deliver a high quality front of house reception/admin support service, including the greeting of clients to our premises, dealing with a wide range of telephone callers and working as part of a team delivering an excellent support service to our CAMHS clinical teams and their clients.

Experience of multi-tasking in a busy office environment . We are looking for a team player with a pleasant welcoming manner and the ability to prioritise conflicting workload demands. You will have good communication and organisational ability, together with IT skills (Word and Outlook essential), to be able to work with the general public both in person and on the telephone in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Qualifications: Essential: English Language GCSE Grade C or equivalent qualification, OCR Level II Typing/Word processing or equivalent qualification and ability to deal professionally with members of the general public Desirable: CLAIT/ECDL or other ITQ, audio/digital typing.

DBS Check
The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure which will be deducted from your first month’s salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

We are obliged to check employment history for at least the past 3 years for successful candidates. Please ensure that the referees you provide us cover at least the past 3 years of your employment/training.

PLEASE NOTE, OUR SALARY SCALES ARE INCREMENTAL, AND STAFF NEW TO THE NHS WILL USUALLY START AT THE BOTTOM POINT OF THE PAYSCALE ADVERTISED.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
