Please be advised that BANES, Swindon, Wiltshire CCGs will be merging into one single CCG (BSW) CCG from the 1st April 2020. If you commence employment after the 1st April you will be employed by the new organisation. If you are employed before the 1st April you will automatically transfer across to BSW CCG on the 1st April 2020.


NHS BSW CCG are looking for a full time, permanent experienced Commissioning Manager for the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC) services for the Wiltshire Locality based at Southgate House Pans Lane Devises. The CCG provides Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care within the Wiltshire Locality providing a wide range of services from Residential, Domiciliary, Supported Living, and more. Reporting to the Director of Community and Joint Commissioning, this role will provide the following:

  • Provide support to CHC/FNC both Adult and Children’s (to be confirmed) services to meet the ever changing and transforming environment of the NHS
  • Implementation of the CHC/FNC Commissioning Strategy
  • Develop services to support streamlining of the CHC/FNC Service
  • Manage the process for the “Unmet Needs” service, this is where health needs are identified for service users who do not qualify for CHC
  • Mentor CHC staff in commissioning
  • Manage the CHC provider market, Including the uplift process and negotiation of Care package costs
  • Liaise with all stakeholders inc. the Council, other CCGs, Community Teams etc.

You will ideally have both CHC and Commissioning experience.
