  • Medium secure services on the St Bernard’s Hospital site in Ealing
  • Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

Nursing posts Robin Ward - Active Rehabilitation Pathway

(Band 5)

WLNHS Trust are currently in the process of reviewing and extending their specialist psychosis rehabilitation services. At the current time, much of the input is provided within specialist inpatient rehabilitation settings but services are in the process of expanding into community focussed service delivery. A number of exciting new models have been developed alongside partners in supported housing. AS part of this redesign, Robin ward has become a ‘High Dependency’ specialist rehabilitation unit – supporting individuals to recovery and independence to enable further community rehabilitation.

 

We are looking for a dynamic nursing staff to work within ward and to help develop excellent pathways to foster recovery for all those using our services. The services aim to help change trajectories for those who have traditionally been high users of services and to improve both their levels of clinical symptomatology and their levels of functioning and social inclusion. The trust is committed to developing excellent services and you will be part of a team excited by, and striving for, optimal recovery outcomes for each individual who uses our services.

 

The post-holder will have experience of working with people with a history of severe and enduring mental health problems and will have a keen interest in being part of planning and delivering exceptional care. The rehabilitation services boast excellent multi-disciplinary working and services are led by the director of medical education who embraces bio-psycho-social models of service provision.
