Are you looking for an exciting challenge? If so, then the Head & Neck Unit may be the place for you! We are looking for a hard working, motivated nurse to join our fantastic team. We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of patient care.

The Head & Neck Unit comprises of 3 clinical areas which are ward C25 (22 bedded Head & Neck in patient ward), C24 (28 recliners for Head & Neck day case surgery) and EDCU (a local anaesthetic eye day case unit). We care for three specialities, Ear, Nose & Throat, Maxillofacial and Ophthalmology. We see emergency & elective admissions and have our own direct emergency assessment unit on the ward.

You will work in all three areas enabling you to gain experience and knowledge in a broad range of Head and Neck illness & surgeries, in a demanding yet rewarding environment. We are also home to the Head & Neck Cancer service for Nottingham. If you are looking to work in a varied and exciting setting then we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be supported by a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator and development opportunities identified.

    • I also consent to the Occupational Health Department confidentially accessing my occupational health records from my current or previous employer in order to check the status of my vaccinations, immunisations s and screening tests as relevant to the post. I understand this is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to me taking up the position at NUH.
    • Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incurs a cost dependent on the level of check required (£45 for enhanced and £28 for standard). I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of a DBS check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
