Due to expansion of the team an opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified administrators to join the existing team of Flow Coordinators within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder is responsible for maximising the effective and efficient utilisation of inpatient beds by monitoring patient flows to Inpatient Services.

You will work closely with the unit Bleep holder, Crisis teams, Emergency Department Liaison Teams and on-call managers in order to ensure effective utilisation of beds on the wards and out of area providers.

You will work within a computer based system to ensure that appropriate systems and processes are utilised to aid in discharge and patient transfer.

The successful candidates will join a small, friendly and effective team who offer a high level of support to the in-patient professionals to ensure that patients are treated in the most appropriate setting to meet their mental health needs.

You can expect regular supervision and support, development through effective training and the opportunity to be part of a relatively new and exciting patient support team providing a high level of coordination for the busy inpatient clinical teams to enhance patient care.

DBS Check
The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure which will be deducted from your first month’s salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
