  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

E-Rostering Adviser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the West London NHS Trust E-Rostering team and take on the role of E-Rostering Adviser.

We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

We care for around 100,000 people each year, serve a local population of 800,000 residents and employ 3,700 staff.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a motivated, conscientious and flexible individual with a willingness to take responsibility to support to usage and implementation of Allocate E-Rostering systems across the Trust enabling managers to deliver quality rosters that are safe, cost-effective, efficient and fair.

The post holder will work closely with managers and staff (clinical and non-clinical) to support the service and in collaboration with the Medical E-Rostering coordinator, Temporary Staffing Team, ESR Team, Payroll Team and Recruitment Team etc,

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of E-Rostering for Trust employees.
  • Monitor compliance, produce rosters and management reports, using the data available from the E-Rostering system to assist managers with the efficient uses of resources through deployment of staff.
  • Carry out data quality assurance investigating discrepancies between the E-Rostering system and ESR and any other HR database.

Ensure pay-roll data is accurate, up to date and prepared ready for payroll to run on time.

Applicants must have excellent administrative, customer service, database and Excel skills, knowledge of HealthRoster systems and processes within a health or social care sector and an ability to pay particular attention to detail.

Some travel between sites will be required.
