Integrated Urgent Care Midwifery Advisor

Base: Contact Centres, Crawley, Maidstone, Ashford

Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week, part time hours will be considered

If you are, here at the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) we very much want to hear from you.

Within a new innovative ambulance service initiative, we are now recruiting Midwives in to our 111 contact centres in the roles of Midwifery Clinical Supervisors. These new roles will ensure we deliver expert support and advice to our patients, as well as offering expert clinical advice and support to our operational staff.

Your role will include clinical mentoring and supervision of fellow emergency medical advisors and other clinicians within your role as midwifery clinical supervisor. The provision of remote triage means liaising with other Midwifery services, to ensure the best possible care for patients that come into contact with our service. You will work as part of our multi-disciplinary team within our remote Clinical Assessment Service.

You will be trained in the use of our clinical systems and triage pathways. You will also have access to clinical supervision with oversight from our Consultant Midwife and access.
