The Urgent Care Centre, located at West Middlesex Hospital is run by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare in partnership with Greenbrook Healthcare. We have an exciting opportunity for Band 7 Emergency Nurse/Care Practitioner to join our friendly team. This position will provide you with a challenging but rewarding opportunity to develop your skills and deliver excellent care to a wide group of patients. You will be responsible for providing face to face consultations for patients presenting with minor injuries and minor illnesses. The variety of work will enable you to work autonomously assessing, treating and discharging patients. You will have competent clinical assessment skills, decision making skills and clinical leadership ability. You must be a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with current NMC or HCPC registration. Our management teams support our nurses’ and paramedics, ensuring that you have time to do the work you trained for, treating your patients.

The UCC is open 24 hours, 365 days a year and have ENP / ECP sessions available during the week, at weekends, during the day, evening and overnight. This enables us to offer flexile packages to meet your existing commitments and availability. We also have a staff bank that enables, if you wish, to work across 8 urgent care centres on an ad hoc basis.

The roles are standard Agenda for Change band 7 and come with the standard annual leave and NHS pension schemes. HRCH also have a comprehensive staff benefits scheme, details of which are available on the web site.
