Senior Respiratory Physiologist / Respiratory Physiologist Developmental Role

Band 6: £30,401 - £37,267 per annum / pro rata or

Band 5: £24,214 - £30,112 per annum / pro rata

1 year fixed term contract

Interview Date: Week commencing 10th February 2020

30 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Senior Respiratory / Respiratory Physiologist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and who has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a range of diagnostic tests.

The person appointed must be able to perform routine lung function tests including spirometry, lung volumes, transfer factor and reversibility as well as have experience in hypoxic challenge testing, 6MWT and MIPs/ MEPs. They will also be required to support the sleep service and it would be an advantage to have experience in CPAP and overnight oximetry.

Applicants should have a BSc in Respiratory Physiology or equivalent, have ARTP part I and ideally part II, and be registered on the RCCP voluntary register with at least 1 years post qualification experience in a respiratory department for the Band 6 role.

Newly qualified physiologists will be considered for the Band 5 developmental role
