We are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our specialist in-house Employee Relations (ER) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to support the service and development of this team. This is a challenging role and will involve dealing with multi-disciplinary staff groups and Staff Side Organisations.

The ER team provides advice and support to line managers and staff on a wide range of ER issues. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively in order to manage a busy caseload of varying case types including disciplinary, employee led complaints (ELC), raising concerns, performance and sickness absence management.

Working closely with other members of the ER team, the post holder will be responsible for providing high quality ER advice across Trust, in line with Trust policy and procedure and legal frameworks; undertaking disciplinary and ELC investigations; writing impartial, evidence-based reports; presenting at hearings and providing support to chairs; and delivering ER-related training to Trust managers.

We are looking for a highly professional and enthusiastic individual, with experience of advising managers on employee relations issues and strong communication skills, to join our team. You will be required to hold a CIPD qualification, or equivalent, with experience of supporting managers through complex case management of ER cases. In addition you will be able to work well under pressure, in an environment with many conflicting demands on your time.
