The Role:

Vita health group are offering this exciting opportunity which requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for the establishment of the service whilst developing an IAPT appropriate clinical workforce

The successful candidate will require strong Clinical Leadership and will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing clinical delivery and operational effectiveness of the IAPT service in Dartford Gravesham and Swanley.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

Accreditation/ (or eligible for) BABCP.

Experience to supervise

Evidence of continuous professional development

Minimum 2 years accreditation (or accreditable experience) with either BACP/UKCP/BABCP/BPS or registration with HCPC/NMC

Experience of working within an IAPT/Primary Care mental Health Service with a range of mental health issues both from clinical and social perspective

Well-developed experience of working with a wide range of psychological problems within a therapeutic model

Experience of supervising people and resource allocation

Experience of working within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural settings

A committed and professional approach to work

Highly effective communication skills, presentational, general verbal and written

Ability to prioritise

Computer/ Information Technology skills

HCPC and CSP Registration

Desirable:

Mental health Professional with a core profession (HCPC/NMC)

BACP/UKCP Accreditation

Understanding of IAPT AQP contracts
