Our 3,500 staff provide services to 4.7m people across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire. We handle over 1 million calls to 999 and 1 million calls to NHS 111 every year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trust to recruit qualified, competent and committed driving instructors to work within the Driver Training Department. Working from strategically located centres within SECamb they will assist in the training of the staff required to fulfill the needs of the Trust's Workforce Plan.

Working across the South East Coast counties of Kent, Surrey or Sussex.

Applications invited for full, part time and dual role (experienced paramedics with current HCPC registration to work in an Operating Unit).

The successful applicant’s primary responsiblity will be to deliver driver training and education on the 4-week FutureQuals driving course, in addition they will also conduct vocational driver training, education and assessment to other members of the Trust when required.

You will become part of a highly qualified and motivated team that continually look for strategies to improve the learner experience. You will also form part of the internal quality assurance process for our department to ensure our high standards are maintained.

We are therefore looking for someone who can take instruction and work through their workload efficiently, who is organised and has the ability to embrace the new initatives relating to driver education and training.

Up to £8000 relocation package would be considered for qualifying candidates (terms and conditions apply).
