NURSING AUXILIARY

  £16,344 - £18,496 per annum (dependent on experience)

Weston Hospicecare provides care for local people who are living with life-limiting illnesses. We are currently looking for three Nursing Auxiliaries to complement the current team of highly skilled nurses and nursing auxiliaries. This role will be based in our 10 bedded In-patient Unit with the opportunity to work in the Community team and our Day Hospice.

These posts will be permanent positions working a variety of shifts to cover a 24 hours period and you will be expected to work night duty, weekends and Bank Holidays. We are looking for two posts working 35 or 37.5 hours per week and one post working 21.75 hours per week.

Ideally, you will have had experience working with patients within palliative are or oncology, however, if you consider yourself to be able to deliver high quality patient care, had recent acute care experience and have a keen interest in palliative care we would like to hear form you.

Later in 2020 we are looking to offer an Apprentice Nursing Associate development opportunity to our permanent staff – this will be subject to funding and meeting certain eligibility/selection criteria.
