We provide healthcare services to people living in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf county borough areas, serving a population of around 450,000. We are ideally situated between Wales’s capital city, Porthcawl to the west, and the stunning scenery in the Beacon Beacons.

BAND 5 Registered Nurse – 37.5 HOURS

BASE: Llynfi Ward, Maesteg Community Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Community Hospitals ward team. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. There is a requirement for the post holder to be flexible in their working patterns to meet service need.

There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients who require rehabilitation and discharge planning into a variety of settings. The post-holder will however find themselves well supported by a very friendly and enthusiastic team of staff.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
