(ST3+) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Applications are invited for a Locally Employed Doctor (LED) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Due to multiple rotational vacancies, two posts are available on a fixed term basis until 4th August 2020. The successful candidates will be based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

The post holders will be expected to work to the equivalent level of an ST3+ specialty trainee within Obstetrics and Gynaecology and will be included on the 1 in 8 middle-grade rota for out of hour’s resident on-call shifts. Previous experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to a minimum of ST3 level is essential.

This is a service post but also provides an excellent opportunity for a trainee seeking to further their learning and experience within in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department is staffed by 9 Consultants, 1 Specialty Doctor, 10 Speciality Trainees (8 ST3+ and 2 ST1/2) and 5 GPST1/2 level Doctors.

Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including a License to Practice.
