Senior Radiographer / Mammographer

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Radiology team as a Senior Radiographer / Mammographer in our Leicester Hospital.

The Role

Our small Radiology Department, with its state-of-the-art technology, enjoys a friendly, dedicated and multi-disciplinary team, which is committed to delivering high quality diagnostic imaging, through a range of radiographic procedures.

Duties will include all aspects of general radiography including plain film, theatre work, mammography and fluoroscopy.

The Person

The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a team whilst also being able to use their own initiative and work independently

  • DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience of working in orthopaedic theatres
  • Certificate of competency in mammography and post qualification experience.

Key information about the role.

The position is30 hours per week. The shifts include Monday 8.30am to 5pm,Tuesday 12 noon to 8pm, Thursday 12.30pm to 8pmand Friday 12 noonto 8pm, however flexibility will be required depending on the business needs. In addition, there is a requirement to cover Saturdays and on-call duties.
