An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Critical Care Medicine team in Lincolnshire. We seeking to recruit a consultant to join the existing team of experienced ICM Consultants who are a motivated, energetic and committed team based at Pilgrim Hospital Boston providing high quality Critical Care services to a largely rural population.

These posts are replacement posts that have arisen due to recent retirements, the posts have a basic 10 PAs with the opportunity for additional DCC and SPA PALS by negotiation and agreement with successful applicants up to a maximum 48 hour working week. The posts are primarily focused on providing 24/7 cover for the 9 bedded Critical care Unit on a 1 in 8 on call basis on a separate ICU only on call rota, but with the opportunity to undertake daytime sessions in another area of specialty interest typically for 2-3 sessions/ week.

The ICM posts have traditionally been linked with anesthesia however we would welcome applications from colleagues whose specialty interests are not in Anaesthetics and strongly encourage colleagues from other specialty backgrounds to contact us to discuss their own interests and requirements and the opportunities we can provide. This is a Trust wide appointment based at Pilgrim Hospital, but with the possibility of working on other sites to accommodate individuals own specialty interests.
