Are you looking for a new opportunity? Are you a band 5 registered nurse ready for a management position? Or a band 6 seeking a new challenge?

 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Sister/Charge Nurse within the Breast Unit. The Unit consists of both ward and outpatient areas, and cares for patients undergoing breast and endocrine surgery on a short stay basis, as well as patients with a variety of other surgical needs.

 

Working across both our Inpatient and Outpatient areas this is an exciting opportunity to develop your management and surgical skills. You will also be committed to providing a high standard of care in our fast paced environment.

 

Candidates will be able to demonstrate good leadership qualities, an ability to motivate team members, evidence of supporting and sustaining change management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A commitment to your personal professional development as well as that of team members and the service is required.

If you are offered a position, you may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.

LTHT will request electronic Factual Employment References from your previous employers. These references will be requested before you are issued with an unconditional offer of employment letter.
