Warrington & Halton Hospitals are looking for a Primary Imaging Clinical Lead who is Amazing!

If you are, then we would be a good match! The successful candidate will manage the Primary Imaging Departments for AED and the Urgent Care Centres within the organisation.

We require you to have a dynamic and passionate approach to your work and able to lead our enthusiastic, hard-working and forward thinking team to become the best Primary Imaging team in the North West!

You will be charged with developing the team, building relationships across the Trust, managing day to day service and flying the flag for Team Radiology. You will work alongside our Clinical Lead for main x-ray to ensure our progress to date is maintained and our teams keep moving forward.

Our department is extremely active in advanced practice with Radiographer Reporting in Chest, Abdomen, MSK(inc Pathology) and GP referrals. We also have Radiographer reporting in Nuclear Medicine and DEXA. We are currently working towards a Radiographer-Led Nuclear Medicine Cardiac Studies and a fully Radiographer-Led DEXA service.

We have an Open Day planned on Saturday 1st February where you are welcome to visit the main Warrington Hospital to meet some of the staff, see our department and ask any questions you may have.

Warrington is situated at the heart of the regional motorway network, with quick and easy access throughout the region and the wider UK via the M62, M6 and M56.

Rail links are also outstanding. There are frequent services to London via the West Coast Main Line, with a travel time of less than two hours. East-west rail links are also excellent, with the Trans Pennine Express service linking the town to Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and the east coast. Travel times to both Liverpool and Manchester are 30 minutes or less by rail.

Many more exciting cultural destinations are on the doorstep of Warrington, including the historic city of Chester, and the cosmopolitan cities of Liverpool and Manchester, all within approximately 30 minutes’ drive.
