An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Urology and Head/Neck Directorate to recruit to the positions of Operational Services Manager for;

  1. Ophthalmology, OMFS and Orthodontics
  2. Urology and ENT

If you are an experienced NHS manager with operational experience and have the ability to meet the challenges of the service, we would like to hear from you.

The post holder will support the Directorate Manager who in conjunction with the Clinical Leads and Matrons, are responsible for the operational management of Elective & Emergency services across these areas. The post holders will take the lead responsibility for the management of the Referral to Treatment (RTT) Access and Cancer standards on behalf of these areas. The post holder will be expected to work across organisational boundaries to make a positive contribution to the Trusts corporate objectives and contribute to shaping the future healthcare across the local economy.

These permanent posts will offer the opportunity to work in a challenging but rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in both the operational delivery and development of services. The post should be viewed as a development opportunity for highly motivated and committed individuals who wish to progress their career in the NHS.
