Community Hospital Night Nursing Service

Full Time/Part Time/Bank

Shift Pattern 22.30 – 06.30

 

First Community is recruiting a staff nurse to work within the bed based care team, providing care to patients within our community hospital and patients in their own home.

In this role, based at our community hospital ward, you will provide nursing care for a wide range of conditions to people in the community hospital and people in their own home.

We are seeking a caring and compassionate nurse who would like to be part of a highly motivated and supportive team. In return we offer a comprehensive induction programme, clinical supervision, support with continuing professional development and revalidation.  

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to drive, have a car suitable for business purposes, and a valid driving licence.




Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)

Recruitment and Retention Premium

Recruitment and Retention Premium applies to the following posts:

Health Visitors, Paediatric Therapists, Ward based Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Audiologists, Continence Nurses, Identified areas for Band 5 & 6 Staff Nurses and District Nurses.

Successful applicants within the staff groups above will receive -

  • £1000 upon commencement (payable in your first months’ salary) then;

  • £1000 after 6 months service subject to satisfactory completion of your probationary period.

    Do note that repayment clauses apply - and will be provided, as required to the relevant post holders.
