Head of Payroll Services

Band 8a/b depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

 

We are seeking a replacement for our Head of Payroll Services who is retiring in April 2020. This is a rare opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated and organised individual to undertake this significant role, with the responsibility to providing payroll and pensions services to the Trust, and to provide an external service to client organisations through a service level agreement.

Applicants will need to have significant demonstrable experience in payroll and pensions with at least 5 years in senior management and have held responsibility for running a payroll.

You will need to have a complete understanding of statutory regulations, an extensive in depth knowledge of NHS Pay and Conditions, Expenses and the NHS Pension scheme with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages, along with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
