Prescription Prescribing Co-coordinator for Community Stoma Advisory Team

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated coordinator to support our Specialist Stoma Nursing Team in the receipt and preparation of repeat prescriptions for stoma products for patients. This is a new service for patients across Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland which will go live in July 2019 to ensure that patients with a stoma receive the correct products for their clinical need.

You will be the main point of contact for patient requests for their stoma prescription therefore outstanding customer service is paramount. You will be liaising on sensitive medical information and a compassionate and caring communication style is essential.

This diverse and complex role will challenge you to use your organisational and prioritising skills, combined with top level attention to detail. The role will involve problem solving on a day to day basis therefore working as a team to meet and manage these demands is paramount.

Previous experience of working with Systmone is essential and experience of working in a GP practice or a clinical environment is desirable due to the clinical responsibilities relating to the role.
