We are seeking to recruit a Public Health Assistant into the School Public Health Service for Primary aged children within the West locality, covering Maidston,Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will work with primary school age children providing screening as part of the National Child Monitoring Programme. You will be part of a diverse team that will contribute to the Healthy Child Programme that aims to deliver interventions that promote healthy lifestyles.

You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience. If you are successful at interview but do not have the essential qualification for the role, we will employ you as trainee and will support you to gain this qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience and continuing to get paid. Agenda for Change posts based within the Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley areas also receive 5% high cost area allowance on top of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum of £1,762. Please note that this element does not apply to bank positions.
