Band 5 - Patient Services Co-Ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Services Coordinator to join the Chapel Allerton Clinical Services Unit (CSU). Your role will be to work with the Business Managers in the management and development of services within the CSU.

You will be required to provide leadership to secretarial staff and work within the multi-disciplinary teams in ensuring services are delivered effectively and efficiently to patients.

You will be required to provide commitment to quality improvements and contribute to achievement of the CSU objectives.

This post will provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a complex clinical and business environment. You will play a key role in enablin the specialities to meet both inpatient and outpatient access targets and quality measures.

You will be required to demonstrate effective skills in communication and the ability to engage with and manage staff.

If you are offered a position, you may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.

LTHT will request electronic Factual Employment References from your previous employers. These references will be requested before you are issued with an unconditional offer of employment letter.
